Lights and reflective gear are mandatory for these runs*\, so please be prepared. The runs are typically around 5 miles and there are several groups to run with depending on your pace from 7ish to 10ish. This is a great way to keep in shape in the off season or for training for races that are earlier in the year. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*An easily seen REFLECTIVE VEST or other light up gear is a MUST. \nYou may be foolish enough to not wear it\, but when you don’t\, drivers call the police and then we have a hassle. Please think of the group. When you run at night with a group of people who are wearing a reflective vest\, drivers tend to focus on those with vests and don’t see you. Also\, when the driver does see you without a vest\, they are often startled and jerk the steering wheel away from you. Then they jerk the wheel back and probably right as us.

Or maybe you are a member but the thought of joining a group run and not knowing anyone or getting lost along the way worries you? Come join us at the Pennichuck School (207 Manchester St\, Nashua) on November 20th for a guided Pennichuck run! We will have guides who can run with you and help you meet some new friends. We’ll also have both the standard 5 mile option plus a 3 mile option if you wanted to do less. (Maps will be posted in the event before the run) After\, come by the 99 (10 St Laurent St\, Nashua\, NH – where Amherst St/101a meets the highway at exit 7) for an informal social where you can meet some GCS members. \nPlease bring a headlamp and appropriate reflective clothing. We want to make sure all the cars on the road can see you! The run will leave promptly at 6pm so be there early. DESCRIPTION:This group meets when the outdoor track works aren’t in session\, late Oct. to April. The runs leave Pennichuck Middle school in Nashua (207 Manchester St\, Nashua\, NH 03064) at 6pm sharp\, so plan on being there earlier. Lights and reflective gear are mandatory for these runs*\, so please be prepared. The runs are typically around 5 miles and there are several groups to run with depending on your pace from 7ish to 10ish. This is a great way to keep in shape in the off season or for training for races that are earlier in the year. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*An easily seen REFLECTIVE VEST or other light up gear is a MUST. \nYou may be foolish enough to not wear it\, but when you don’t\, drivers call the police and then we have a hassle.
