THE COURSE: 13.1 miles USAT&F certified #NH98001AM. Scenic, rolling, country paved roads. Strict traffic control. Water every 2 miles. Please note that no course safety or water service will be available after 1:00 PM or three hours after the race starts..

RELAY (Limited to 150 Teams): Now's your chance to run the great Applefest course without having to go the entire 13.1 miles . The Relay has 2 legs, the first of which is a net downhill of 6.4 miles. The 2nd leg runners start at the junction of Nevins and Farley roads, which gives them about a mile warm up before they encounter the famed hills of Wheeler Rd. 1st leg runners will start with the regular half marathon runners. We will have buses to take the 2nd leg runners to the transfer point BEFORE the start. Gear bags can be carried on the buses by the 2nd leg runners. The buses will get the 1st leg runners back to the finish area in time to see their teammates finish.

THE BUS RIDE FOR ALL RELAY RUNNERS IS MANDATORY: The logistics of travel to/from the handoff point is severely limited and we ask your cooperation in not trying to get a car to that point because you will imped our shuttle and the movement of volunteer crews and possibly mess up the day for other runners. You will be provided a ride to/from the handoff point. If we can associate a relay team with any car found at the hand off point, that team will be disqualified and no listing for the team will be made in the results.

RELAY AWARDS: 1st place male, female and coed teams will each win $100. Relay division Medals and Apple Pie awards go three deep in Open, Masters and Seniors (50 & over) for male, female and coed teams.

PRERACE RELAY LOGISTICS: All 2nd leg relay runners MUST be at the buses by 9:45am, which is 15 minutes before the start of the race. Parking personal cars at the transfer point will NOT be permitted.
