Our Applefest Half Marathon has sold out for 7 straight years!  All of us in the Gate City Striders and our loyal community volunteers can be proud of our accomplishment of making Applefest one of the best fall races in the USA. This is the club’s largest fundraiser, which allows us to make sizable contributions to local area community groups in the area in which live and run. You, our club members and interested community based volunteers, have made Applefest go so smoothly in the past and we will need your help again to keep Applefest the event people talk about all year.

The economy has not seemed to have any effect on road races as race registration across the board are equal or better than last year and APPLEFEST is no different. As a result, we expect the Half Marathon to sell out in record time. Don't wait sign up today!
