The Nashua P.A.L. Gate City Striders Youth Track & Field program is open to all youth runners between the ages of 7 and 18** who are interested in competing in track and field events.  The program consists of twice-weekly coached workouts from April through June, and a series of low-key meets.  Runners also have the option to participate in the USATF Junior Olympics program in June and July.

Our developmental approach is designed to introduce kids to the to the fundamentals of running, jumping and throwing events.  Emphasis is on learning proper form in all events and participating in drills that will reinforce good technique.  This program is perfect for beginner runners who do not have a track and field program in their school or community.  Kids who are currently participating in school track programs are also welcome to join us after their school seasons are finished.

**Note:  while school seasons are in progress, the majority of our participants will be elementary or early middle school-aged kids (ages 7 through 12).  Older athletes are encouraged to participate in their school programs and then join us at the conclusion of their school season.
