Our Youth Program is for Youth Strider members, ages 7 and above. Younger children are encouraged to participate in our Fitness University program. We are committed to helping our youth train year-round, with emphasis on competiton during our spring track and fall cross-country seasons.
During the spring, we offer twice-weekly practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Milford High School track. We will also participate in several outdoor track meets, starting with a series of local meets and concluding with the USATF Junior Olympic program consisting of local (NH), association, regional, and national meets.
Training will continue throughout the summer with weekly group runs and voluntary participation in selected road races, including our own Summer Trail Series. In the fall, we participate in the USATF and AAU Cross country series. In the winter, there will be opportunities to continue with casual group runs and an option to participate in several indoor youth track meets.
