Run a 5K in just ten weeks with the help of expert coaching and a proven group support program hosted by the Gate City Striders and set in a fun, friendly environment. Wed. Evenings, April 4th to May 30th - 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Nashua, NH.
Is this the year you're finally going to put down the remote and get in shape? If that's the case, then the Gate City Striders Couch to 5K Program is for you. The C25K program is expertly instructed by George Lecours and members of the GCS coaching staff. This 9-week training program will bring you from walking, to running, to completing a 5k. Isn’t it time you made the commitment to a healthier lifestyle?
Date/Time/Place:
Wednesday Evenings, April 4, 2012 to May 30, 2012 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. First two sessions (April 4 and April 11) meet at Runner's Alley at 4 Coliseum Ave in Nashua. All other sessions meet at Nashua High School South Track off Riverside Street with workouts taking place in beautiful Mine Falls Park. By week eleven, C25K participants will be prepared to run the Hollis Fast 5k on Thursday, June 14th in Hollis, NH. (Race begins at 6:30pm.)
Program Fee:
$75 includes individual GCS membership ($25 value), expert coaching and a commemorative C25K shirt awarded upon completion of the program. New this year: If you participated in this program previously, you may repeat the program for only $50 which includes renewal of your GCS membership ($25 value) and a reduced cost of $25, as a benefit of being a GCS member.
